Dylan Lauren's sweet New York wedding

Dylan Lauren, the owner of Dylan's Candy Bar stores - a celeb fave - and the daughter of designer Ralph Lauren, was married June 11th at her parents estate in Bedford, New York.

She married hedge fund manager Paul Arrouet in an evening garden ceremony for friends and family. She wore a fitted gown designed by her father - who previously admitted to seeking advice from celebrated bridal designer Vera Wang in preparation for creating his daughter's dress. She accessorized with Cartier diamonds and an antique veil.

At the tented reception, guests like Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley, Martha Stewart, designer Stacy Bendet and her husband, producer Eric Eisner, enjoyed s'mores, banana splits, and strawberry cheesecake from Lauren's New York stores. "Among the groomsmen were Andrew and David Lauren, while the bridal party included Danyelle Freeman, Nicole Levinson and David's fiancée, Lauren Bush."

Lauren had a small role as herself in the recent Russell Brand remake of Arthur, when he gets a job at her one of her stores.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher weds - but brother Liam 'too busy' to attend

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has had a notoriously stormy relationship in the spotlight with his brother and former bandmate Liam, further evident this weekend when Liam was "too busy" to attend the wedding of his brother to Scottish publicist Sarah MacDonald at New Forest National Park.

The rocker paid GBP60,000 for exclusive access to the luxury Lime Wood Hotel and its 16 rooms inside the park, arriving by car on Friday ahead of the Saturday ceremony, where guests were entertained by a bagpiper and comedian Russell Brand. Jazz signer Jamie Cullum and model Sophie Dahl were married at the 13th Century estate in January 2010.

Gallagher wore a light-grey suit with white shirt and black tie, while MacDonald wore a full-length white dress with long sleeves - de riguer again following the Duchess of Cambridge's long-sleeved Grace Kelly-inspired Sarah Burton creation.

Younger brother Liam, whose Valentine's Day registry office wedding to British pop star Nicole Appleton in 2008 went off without Noel's attendance, is currently touring with new band Beady Eye. Liam has admitted the brothers don't see eye to eye and prefer not to speak to one another. They haven't spoken in two years and allegedly use Twitter to communicate.

Noel was previously married to interior designer Meg Matthews, with whom he has daughter Anais, 11. Their marriage ended after he met MacDonald at a party in Ibiza, Spain in June 2000. He has sons Rory,3, and eight-month-old Sonny with MacDonald.

Diana's brother weds for third time

Though Charles, Earl Spencer, and his new bride were guests at his nephew's April 29th royal wedding, the newly minted Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did not attend the earl's June 18th wedding to Canadian-born philanthropist Karen Gordon at the Spencer family home, Althorp House in Northamptonshire, England.

The remains of Spencer's older sister, Princess Diana, are buried on the estate.

Gordon's white lace gown featured a v-neckline and fitted bodice, and she carried a bouquet of cream and white flowers. Spencer, making his third trip to the altar, wore a navy pinstripe suit for the ceremony, described as private and attended by only close family and friends - like his four children with first wife Victoria Lockwood - Lady Kitty, 20, Ladies Eliza and Amelia, 18, and son Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, 16, who spend most of their time in Cape Town with their mother. Also in attendance were his two children with second wife Caroline Freud - The Honourable Edmund, 7, and Lady Lara Spencer, 4, and Gordon's two teenage daughters with first husband, Hollywood producer Mark Gordon.

Though it's just Earl Spencer's third marriage, he was briefly engaged to Lady Bianca Elliot in 2010. He announced his engagement to Gordon, a former fashion model, in February of this year.

Lily Allen's English country wedding

Days after her June 11th wedding to fiance Sam Cooper, English singer-songwriter Lily Allen unveiled her updated Twitter handle - @lilyroseallen traded in her old account to become @lilyrosecooper - and in a public message thanked friends, family, and more for her perfect day. 'I had the most amazing wedding,' she Tweeted. 'Thank you to everyone who went to such extraordinary efforts to make it that way.'

The couple exchanged vows at St. James the Great Church in the village of Cranham, near Stroud, in Gloucestershire. Allen wore a custom-made vintage lace gown by French designer Delphine Manivet, quashing reports that the dress would be made by her close friend, Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Allen's wedding day was made even more special for family and friends when Cooper announced at the wedding breakfast that his new wife is over three months pregnant - welcome news after the couple lost their first child, a boy, when she was six months pregnant last November. "There were tears all around," a friend told the Daily Mail of the announcement. "This is the happiest day of Lily and Sam's lives and they are so in love. This is the icing on the wedding cake!"

Allen and builder Cooper met at the Glastonbury rock festival in Scotland in June 2009, following relationships with higher profile men including Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers - with whom she suffered a first miscarriage in early 2008. They announced their engagement in January after he proposed over the Christmas holidays, solidifying their union amid their heartbreak.

Marriage made Christina Aguilera's relationship stronger

This November, Christina Aguilera will celebrate five years of marriage with her music exec hubby, Jordan Bratman, and in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan UK the pop singer-turned actress tells how nothing much has changed for the couple since they started dating in 2002.

"Marriage unites you and makes you official, but it didn't change our relationship. All the things like wanting to work hard and play hard -- they were always important to us," she says. "We've been married for five years now, and I think the secret is in always keeping it interesting. You have to make time for yourselves."

Five years is a stretch for almost any Hollywood marriage, but Aguilera, who welcomed the couple's son, Max, in January 2008, tells Cosmo, "It's important to be open to growing together, and when the going gets tough, you have to see how you can make your relationship more special and how you can spend more quality time together. Everyone has rough patches, everybody grows and we all change. It's important to give each other room to grow and to accept them for who they are."

The couple were married at the Staglin Family Vineyard in Rutherford, California on November 19, 2005. The singer wore an elaborate Spanish-style Christian Lacroix gown for the Jewish nuptuals. She traded the dress for a satin mini for the reception, where 150 guests including Sharon Stone, Justin Timberlake and then-girlfriend Cameron Diaz, were treated to renditions of Aguilera's "Lady Marmalade" and "At Last." The three-day honeymoon followed at a small resort in the Napa Valley.

Dieterle stayed far from the kitchen for his wedding day - he told People he didn't even know what was going to be on the menu!

Scissor Sisters' Ana Matronic talks married life

Ana Matronic (real name Lynch), the only female in the dance rock band The Scissor Sisters, recently sat down to talk to the Daily Mail about the band's upcoming tour and also touched on being a newlywed - she married longtime boyfriend Seth Kirby in late April at New York City Hall.

Matronic recalls, "We got married because...OK, I should back up a little bit. Seth does lights and visuals for bands and he works with this man Josh White, who did the visuals at Woodstock. Josh has been married to his wife Alice for 32 years, and Josh and Seth had just done a gig and it came out that Seth and I weren’t officially married. Josh and Alice couldn’t believe it, because we had been referring to each other as husband and wife for years. Seth came home and said, 'God, I just got an earful from Josh and Alice,' and we were just talking about it over the next few days and then it was like, 'Yeah, yeah, we should do it, we should do it.' I was on the computer and I looked down and he was on his knees and he said, 'Will you marry me?' and I said yes and he said, 'Will you fill out the paperwork and we’ll go right now?' So we went to City Hall that day, got the paperwork, then waited six days and did it officially."

Witnesses at the City Hall ceremony were Josh White, Seth's sister Kate and roommate Joe. After the Scissor Sisters upcoming tour, the couple plans to have a party for friends and family and go on a honeymoon.

Asked what marriage means to her, Matronic said, "Marriage? It’s just better and deeper. It’s like the difference between dating someone and dating someone you’re in love with. It’s that next logical step."

She also sees children in the couple's future, saying, "I love the idea. There are a lot of idiots having children in the world these days, so we should probably put a good one out there!"

Actor Brian J. White marries in Beverly Hills

And hey, since it fits, before we get started, happy 90210!

On Saturday, August 28th, actor Brian J. White (of Stomp the Yard and The Wire fame) married his girlfriend Paula Da Silva, a marketing exec, in Beverly Hills. The wedding took place at All Saints Parish Church in the luxury zip code, with a reception that followed at The Foundry on Melrose Avenue, complete with a Polite in Public photobooth - a growing wedding trend among the rich and fabulous. Guests also dined on a wedding cake baked with layers of carrot, red velvet, and marble cake with Kahlua cream frosting.

Da Silva's strapless gown came from R. Mine Bridal.

Of his wedding day, White told HipHollywood.com that he loved sharing the day with everyone he loves in the world, and called himself "blessed" because he got to marry his best friend.

The couple were engaged in January while on vacation on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. Around that time, White posted the following passage on his Facebook page, calling it, "What falling in love with Paula Da Silva taught me."
“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so out of control that you have to transform your life…” -Elizabeth Gilbert
Guests at the ceremony included actors Taraji P. Henson, Columbus Short and Tia Mowry, singers Dave Hollister and Esthero, and director Sylvain White. White once played in the NFL for the New England Patriots, and is the son of retired Boston Celtics star Jo Jo White.

This is the first marriage for both, who are off on a honeymoon in Barbados next week.

It was the first time in years that Malone could fit into a size 14 (size 10 in North America).

A guest told the Manchester Evening News, “In her regal cream dress she literally looked half her age and looked tiny after losing all that weight, she really was the most beautiful bride. ”

Konnie Huq and Charlie Brooker elope in Las Vegas

In order to avoid the attention of a celebrity wedding, seeming odd couple Konnie Huq of TV's X Factor and acerbic TV critic Charlie Brooker eloped in Las Vegas on Monday, July 26th.

A friend told the Mirror, “They wanted to marry as soon as possible and managed to squeeze a few days out of their schedules. It was simple and elegant. Konnie wore a white dress and Charlie wore a suit. They’re blissfully happy and are thrilled to be married.”

They had reportedly intended to wed earlier this year after secretly dating for nine months, but pushed it back when Huq signed on to host The Xtra Factor. Of their percieved differences, Huq told in a recent interview,
“We’re not ‘opposites attract’ as people think. I’ve got an evil sense of humour and Charlie’s more of a softie than you’d think.”

Jesse Csincsak & Ann Lueders wed in Vegas

Former stars of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Jesse Csincsak and Ann Lueders were married at Las Vegas' Rumor Hotel on Saturday, August 28.

The night before, Csincsak followed up a poolside rehearsal barbeque with a bachelor party at Vanity nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, telling People of his wedding day, "I've waited for this moment my whole life!"

The outdoor ceremony was attended by friends including fellow Bachelor alums Jason Mesnick and wife Molly Malaney, Vienna Girardi, and current Bachelor Pad housemates Jesse Kovacs and Natalie Getz. Olympic bronze medallist Louie Vito, fellow snowboarder Csincsak's childhood friend, also attended.

Mesnick and Csincsak both vied for DeAnna Pappas' affections on The Bachelorette, then Ann Lueders participated in Mesnick's season of The Bachelor. "I'm ecstatic," he told People. "Jesse and I have this weird history because two years ago when we were doing The Bachelorette, we said we were going to be there for each other at our weddings no matter what. At the time we thought it was going to be somebody else, obviously. In a small, strange way he ends up marrying someone from my Bachelor season, and it's just come full circle."

The party continued Sunday with a public pool party at the Rumor Hotel. "I'm just loving life," Csinscak told People. "I have a gorgeous, gorgeous bride. I'm so psyched. The whole weekend has gone by so quickly. I haven't had a minute to nap or anything. I think I've had 12 hours of sleep in three days."

Lueders and Csincsak will head off for a honeymoon at "a secret location," before settling at home in Colorado with their two dogs and son Noah, expected this winter. They announced their engagement August 6th; it's the first marriage for both.

UK's 'Combat Barbie' gets married

Katrina Hodge, reigning Miss England and so-called Combat Barbie due to her status as Lance Corporal in the British Army, took the nation by storm when she showed that women in the military could also be drop-dead gorgeous.

Hodge secretly married fiance Neil (also a military man, whose last name can't be revealed for security purposes) in Sri Lanka in June for friends and family, after registering the marriage in Brighton, England in April. Neil is said to have proposed after the Miss England contest last July, where Hodge placed second. She gained the crown in November after the winner, Rachel Christie, was caught fighting in a nightclub brawl and stripped of the title.

Part of the rules of being Miss England and a potential Miss World candidate include being a single woman - but because she was crowned in November and the Miss World pageant took place in December 2009, before the June wedding, Hodge broke no rules. Still, she kept the marriage a secret until her reign as Miss England came to an official end.

The Daily Mail quotes Hodge as saying, "I'm just pleased my secret is out in the open now. I wanted to do my duty as Miss England and even though the wedding was planned, I had to keep it a secret until now because having the Miss England crown meant so much to me."

Hodge is said to have worn a recycled wedding dress for the ceremony, and may reveal her gown at a Miss England Eco party in Birmingham tomorrow.

Greek Royal Wedding: Prince Nikolaos weds Tatiana Blatnik

The Greek monarchy was deposed in the 1973 and today its members hold their titles in courtesy, but their social status still earns them a celebrity distinction around the world. Now, primarily, most members of the royal family reside in London, England.

Prince Nikolaos of Greece and Denmark
, the second son of King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie (sister to Queen Margrethe of Denmark), was married to his London-based girlfriend Tatiana Blatnik, an events planner for Diane Von Furstenburg, on Thursday, August 25th. Oprah's former chef has 'big gay wedding' in D.C.

Celebrity chef Art Smith - who was Oprah Winfrey's personal chef for 10 years - was married to his boyfriend of 10 years, artist Jesus Salgueiro, on Saturday, August 21st in the nation's capital. The blessing was witnessed by 485 guests at the base of the Lincoln Memorial.

The day began with Smith and Salgueiro leading all their guests on a four mile run from Smith's own Art and Soul Restaurant on Capitol Hill to the symbol of civil rights and freedoms, and they obtained a protest permit in order to gather at the base of the monument with so many friends and family, who had flown in from all over the world to witness the ceremony. Same-sex marriage has been legal in D.C. since March, and the wedding was officiated by former Oprah show spiritualist Marianne Williamson.

"It was this big gay wedding," Smith said. "But it was a wedding made up our friends from all over the world."

During the ceremony, Williamson recounted the highlights of their love story - Smith proposed to Salgueiro on their first date, leaving the artist wondering if he had just met "a crazy man or the love of his life. He took 10 years to consider."

In those ten years, the couple were brought together by Salgueiro's three bouts with cancer. Their self-penned vows highlighted their deep love for one another.

"I am an artist, but you are the Art — my art," Salgueiro said. "Without you, the canvas of my life would be empty and bare."

"While I may set the table, be it known that you are the banquet and the feast," Smith told Salgueiro.

A reception at Art and Soul followed, with guests sipping Prosecco sparkling wine while a cellist and violinist performed Bach.Guests included designer Nate Berkus (also of Oprah show fame), Rep. John Dingell, D-Mich., Fox News broadcaster Chris Wallace, former NFL lineman Warren Sapp, and Chicago drag queen Chilli Pepper. Winfrey did not attend, but her Harpo Productions were one of many corporate donors that helped the couple throw such a lavish party.

Smith also turned to his celeb chef friends and colleagues to create a Southern-inspired wedding menu - Duff Goldman of The Food Network's Ace of Cakes created the nine-tier wedding cake with green fondant, Top Chef's Lee Anne Wong created a fingerling potato salad, Rey Villalobos and John Vermiglio of Smith's Table Fifty-Two restaurant in Chicago contributed buttermilk fried chicken, smoked brisket was prepared by Hill Country's Elizabeth Karmel; and barbecue pulled pork was on the menu from Smith's fellow BBQ Pitmaster judge Myron Mixon.

Though Smith has lost over 100 lbs. in the past year and the morning job was in celebration of his success, he tells People, "Barbecue has always been a favorite of mine," says Smith. "And I said if we don't serve fried chicken, we're going to have a riot!"

In lieu of gifts, the couple requested that donations be made to Common Threads, a charity Smith started teaching low-income kids to cook nutritious meals.
