Hilary Swank will wait for marriage, babies

Double Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank talks about love and family in cover article of September's InStyle, admitting that marriage and babies are not in her immediate future with John Campisi, her agent boyfriend of almost four years.

"I believe in the sanctity of marriage. John and I, you know, we were both in long marriages and it's not something that we need to rush back into," she says, referencing her 14-year marriage to actor Chad Lowe. She also plays 'stepmom' to Campisi's seven-year-old son, Sam, which for now is enough for her mothering instincts. She tells InStyle she'll wait until "the time is right" to have a baby of her own.

"Friends of mine and I talk about this. Does someone come into your life for a certain time, and then you are supposed to go your separate ways?" she wonders in the article. "There's a part of me that thinks that's true. There are friendships that we grow out of. But I believe in the long haul. I believe in having a monogamous relationship."
