Khloe plans Kim Kardashian's engagement party in four days

Kim Kardashian accepted a proposal, and 20.5 carat diamond ring, from NBA star Kris Humphries in May, and has hinted she'll wed this summer. And on Thursday sister Khloe threw a last-minute engagement party for the couple, when they realized it was the only opportunity to fit it into both families' busy schedules.

And she called in event planner Sharon Sachs, who planned Khloe's own wedding to Lakers star Lamar Odom in September 2009. "She did my wedding in nine days, so I was like, 'You can put together an engagement party in three days!' It was really fun!"

Almost 50 friends and family attended the bash in Los Angeles, including some friends who had yet to meet Humphries amid his rapid relationship development with Kim.

"Everybody had the best time and got along. It was so sweet see everyone hang out with each other."

When they wed, Kim has said she'll keep her last name professionally but will take his name with a hyphenate.

As for that 20.5 carat diamond ring? Humphries helped design it with jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz. He spent days deciding which inscriptions to engrave on the platinum band, settling on Biblical phrases like, "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil."

Also included on the band was a simple "K [hearts] K."

Christine Bleakley shows off engagement ring!

Arriving back in London from a US vacation in L.A. and Las Vegas with footballer Frank Lampard, TV presenter Christine Bleakley smiled for photographers as she showed off her huge GBP120,000 ring - which she has called a bit too big!

Lampard, a striker with the English national team and Chelsea in the English Premiere League, reportedly spent almost three months planning a the romantic two-week getaway and proposal - though Bleakley told her cohorts on breakfast show Daybreak that the moment was "not very fancy. It was very personal, very private actually, and we were just having a gorgeous lunch by the beach [in Los Angeles] and he simply popped the question. It was completely out of the blue.

"Halfway through the lovey-dovey bit, I realized what he was about to do so I started to cry for about ten minutes and then he pulled out the ring and said, 'Will you marry me?' And that was it."

Though the couple haven't set a date for the wedding, Bleakley says she'd like a small and private wedding in her hometown of Newtownards in Northern Ireland.

It's also been reported that the couple have already been turning down splashy magazine deals to showcase their wedding photos, wishing instead just to share the day with loved ones.

A source told the Sunday Mirror today, "Christine can't wait to get married and Frank has said whatever she wants is fine by him. Money obviously isn't a problem and Frank wants everything to be perfect for Christine. It isn't going to be some tacky celebrity wedding. This is a day purely about them and for their families and close friends."

This will be the first marriage for both, though Lampard was once engaged to Spanish model Elen Rives, with whom he has daughters Luna, 4, and Isla, 3.

Molly Sims' bling and proposal details!

Over the May long weekend, actress/jewelry designer Molly Sims accepted a surprise proposal from producer Scott Stuber, her boyfriend of the past two years. He popped the question inside her walk-in closet, a la Big and Carrie in Sex & the City. "I had just closed escrow on my house. I was having trouble having his house be our house. He was like, 'This is our house and our life and our future.'"

Stuber, who designed the Diane von Furstenburg ring himself with Sims' friend, a DVF executive, flew in Sims parents from Kentucky for the weekend, a surprise to the bride-to-be. Said Stuber at the recent Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles, with Sims on his arm, "Her mother is a southern woman, and I wanted to be a good Southern gentleman and go ask her parents in person, and bring them along."

And Sims, who says she has "no idea" how big her cushion-cut sparkler is (roughly 5-6 carats, says this site), loves her future husband's taste in jewelry. "He designed it. He did it with my girlfriend on his own. He surprised me; I never sent him a picture. He did it all."

UPDATE: Fearne Cotton engaged

Over the weekend, British music TV/radio host Fearne Cotton, 29, got engaged to her skater boyfriend of the past two years, Jesse Jenkins, Friday night - her 29th birthday. Cotton stepped out of the BBC Radio 1 studios on Monday with a diamond ring (among others) on her left hand.

Sources claim that Jenkins, 24, led Cotton, blindfolded, to London's Richmond Park, where he reportedly got down on one knee and proposed.

"Fearne was so touched at how Jesse did it - it was really romantic. It was a big shock for everyone but Fearne is ecstatic. It was the last thing that she was expecting but she didn't hesitate to say yes. She is so excited about being engaged that she hasn't even thought about the wedding - that will be something she thinks about later," says the source.

Cotton's rep confirmed the rumours late yesterday. It will be the first marriage for both.

The presenter has always spoken of her desire for marriage and family. "I've always been broody. Having a family of my own is really important, more than anything. I think that's what it's all about, isn't it? It's about finding a life partner who's your best friend. What's the point of doing great things at work if you don't have someone to share it with?"

Michael Buble wearing male engagement ring

Canadian pop singer Michael Buble announced recently he will marry his girlfriend Luisana Lopilato next year in her native Argentina, and now he's been spotted getting into one of Lopilato's family traditions - a male engagement ring.

While on tour last week, Buble explained on stage, "The boy also wears the ring in Argentina. That's what she tells me, anyway."

The couple met at a concert afterparty in Buenos Aires in 2008, and she inspired the song "Haven't Met You Yet" off his most recent album - and then starred in the video. The couple plan to split their time between his native Vancouver and Buenos Aires, where he recently purchased a home.

Buble's ex, British actress Emily Blunt, married The Office star John Krasinski on July 10th in Como, Italy.

Just in time for Bachelor Pad, former Bachelor series contestants announce engagements to fellow show stars

Sorry, money-making anti-love reality TV show series, we see right through you. Earlier this week, just as ABC's Bachelor Pad debuted, DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak, who walked away engaged when Pappas was The Bachelorette, have announced their engagement to each of their new loves - who also have Bachelor connections.

Pappas, 28, announced her engagement to Stephen Stagliano earlier this week, debuting her 2.12 carat Asscher-cut diamond engagement ring. The couple were engaged over Memorial Day weekend, about one month before Stephen's twin brother Michael - who was on the Bachelorette season starring Jillian Harris - proposed to girlfriend Holly Durst with a ring from Boston's Kiing Jewelers. Durst also appeared on a former season of the Bachelor, and both couples met at a taping of a Bachelor reunion special in 2009.

Now, the two couples are planning a TV wedding special titled Four Better, for Worse and a double wedding next spring, and both brides will likely wear Monique Lhuillier.

Also this week, Pappas' former fiance, snowboarder Jesse Csincsak announced his engagement to Ann Leuders, who appeared on Jason Mesnick's Bachelor season and met Csincsak on a reunion cruise to Mexico for the show last year.

He presented her with a $22,000 princess-cut ring from Levit Jewelers in Ohio. The couple have not announced any wedding plans.

So while it seems almost impossible to make a viable love-match during the show's whirlwind filming schedule, the show seems to be picking up some credibility with making love connections, after all. Does this mean we still have to watch it?

Uma puts a ring back on

Following recent photographs of Kill Bill star Uma Thurman reunited with ex-fiance Arpad Busson, the actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand earlier this week while walking her son, Levon, home from school in NYC (pictured, left).

Neither reps for Thurman, nor the millionaire Swiss financier, are talking, adding fuel to rumours that the couple have not only reconciled, but have kickstarted their engagement again.

The pair split late last year following two years together, only to be seen getting close in London and New York multiple times this month. Thurman was previously married to actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke, with whom she has son Levon, 8, and 11-year-old daughter Maya, and Busson has sons Flynn, 11, and Cy, 6, with ex-fiancee, supermodel Elle MacPherson.

Kym Marsh keeps engagement ring under wraps

Following the announcement that Coronation Street's Kym Marsh was engaged over the holidays to fellow British soap star Jamie Lomas, the actress was recently spotted near the soap's Manchester studios keeping her diamond hidden from the paparazzi. Just the band was visible as she hid the bauble in her fist.

No word on when the couple plan to wed. She was previously married to actor Jack Ryder, and has two children with ex-boyfriend Dave Cunliffe. Lomas also has a son from a previous relationship. The couple's own son, Archie, was born prematurely in February 2009 and died shortly after his birth. The strain from the loss of their son led the couple to split last fall, only to reconcile a month later.

Cheryl Cole doesn't wear ring for fashion

British pop star Cheryl Cole, who married English footballer Ashley Cole in a $1.5 million ceremony in 2006, has been spotted recently without her diamond engagement ring. The move has led to rumours that the couple's marriage, rocked by reports that he had cheated in 2008, was in trouble.

But the former Cheryl Tweedy is adamant that she only removes her ring in the name of fashion, telling Britain's Glamour magazine, "Do people really think I'm going to have an argument and take my ring off? It was a fashion statement more than a marriage statement. As my wedding ring is yellow it doesn't go with everything."

Carrie Underwood wants a big-haired wedding

Currently planning her wedding to Ottawa Senators hockey star Mike Fisher, country singer Carrie Underwood was happy to display her $150,000 yellow-diamond Johnathon Arndt engagement ring - offering a much better view than the first glimpse a few weeks ago at a Senators' home game.

She talked to both Us and People while she navigated the red carpet at last night's People's Choice Awards, offering both some details on her wedding plans.

She told Us, "I bought a lot of magazines and am cutting out pictures. I have a folder and I cut out pictures and glue them in. It’s in kind of a binder thing."

Of her dress, the undecided star says she'll probably go with, "someone I’ve worked with before that I know I can work well with" to design it. "I want something pretty traditional," she said. "Maybe with flowers on it - not like real flowers!"

Telling People that all she really wants is "a groom, good food, and an open bar," she told them of how she hoped to look on her big day: "I'm Southern. I like big hair and eyeliner. I want my wedding day to be me, so I'll probably be rocking some big hair and some eyeliner."

The newly engaged couple have not yet set a wedding date.

Pop star Robbie Williams engaged before New Year's?

According to British tab The Sun, pop star Robbie Williams proposed to his girlfriend of three years, American actress Ayda Field, at the home they share in Los Angeles just two days before New Year's Eve.

Though the report is unconfirmed, there may be reason to believe it's just another rumour, following a false start on their engagement early in December while both were being interviewed live on Sydney, Australia radio station 2DayFM. When asked that day by the hosts if they were considering marriage, Williams paused before telling Field: "Will you marry me? I love you so much, would you mind being my betrothed until the end of time."

Field replied, "I would love to be your betrothed until the end of time," but soon after media reports went off the wall, Williams' publicist clarified, "He did say it, but he did it in a jocular manner. They are not engaged."

So, could it be true that Williams, who had reportedly planned to propose on New Year's Eve but was too excited to wait, is now engaged to Field? He did admit recently live with British talk show host Jonathan Ross that he wanted to have a family with her, and the couple were spotted playing football in Los Angeles over the weekend, with Field sporting a huge diamond on her ring finger, but the pop singer's reps remain mum.
